We often see great pictures of the stars of the bird world but the ordinary birds never get a look in.
I would like to start a picture thread of those birds that we share our everyday lifes with like the Sparrows and Pigeons etc...
Lets all take our cameras out and give them a chance to shine.

I'd rather have porky birds in our garden than porky squirrels!!! That's a lovely looking blackbird - we're being overrun with these at the moment.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
