I've been seeing the following droppings next to the same border in my garden and I was hoping someone could help me identify the culprit? It's very black, around the size of a 10p piece, soft and always left overnight (so presumably the animal is nocturnal).

Hedgehog poo? That is normally dark brown / black with a shiny metallic outside due to containing insect body parts. Hope it visits you often if it leaves you 10p each time ...
