We normally get loads of Starlings feeding fledglings in our little back yard when we put our feeders out, but fir the last 2 days we've had a new visitor, a Rosy Starling
We are now on day 5 of the Rosy Starling coming in to feed. My son Josh Fyfe got some brilliant photos yesterday
Well done to Josh in getting those cracking photos. Was it his impression that the Rosy was feeding the juvenile which I think is a Common Starling or was it just the juvenile begging?

Wonderful new captures Josh, wonder if the ordinary coloured youngster is the offspring of the Rosy parent?
Edit: just found this ...

I wondered that too Wendy. However, looking at photos of juvenile Rosy Starlings they seem to have orangey and slightly stouter bills than Common Starlings. See HERE
I may of course be wrong.
They do look different TJ and more colourful in the body too ... some more comparison photos on here ...

Breeding rosy starlings would be a first for the UK.
We think it's the juvenile begging. The yard is full of youngsters happy to be fed by anyone
Back again this morning. That's 6 days running ️
