I’ve been seeing and hearing lots of Wrens out and about especially in the woods where I work. Never had a good photo of a wren so I’ve been taking some to catch what I can. Here are some of those photos from the last week or two. Got a few blinders this morning I reckon.
And you know why that is! The Wren is the most common nesting/breeding bird in the UK. The House Sparrow is the most common garden bird in the UK. But the Wren in numbers has more birds in total. Explained in the link below from the BTO!

thanks Wendy. Not the easiest to capture as you know. Always dotting around the place but when they stay in one spot singing it makes it all worthwhile.
