Macro Pic. Hoverfly eyes.

This is my Macro head pic of the tiny Hoverfly   ‘Eupeodes Corollae’. I don’t know about anyone else, but I can’t even remember, spell or even pronounce the fancy pansy latin names so I’ll just stick  with the common name for this, ‘Migrant Hoverfly’ . Its a very common Hoverfly and you will usually see it almost anywhere, along road side verges, hedgerows, gardens, meadows etc. I followed this from plant to plant, I don’t know who was more exhausted, me or the fly  Joy , now I do my Macro photography in the evening’s or early mornings ( if I can get up Joy) when they are either knackered from a hard days hovering, or just woken up from the land of nod. I guess this was just a lucky shot tbh. Taken with Olympus OM-D EM1 Mark iii , 60mm Macro lens, F12 and Auto ISO .
