Really interesting Wendy. I think most of ours roost quite close as I startle them sometimes when I'm wandering in the garden at night.

I know that mine here mostly roost in Russian vine and Ivy which adorns the chalk cliffs, they can be heard chatting as they settle down ... plenty of scrub & trees around the cliff top too!
