I looked for this year's thread which doesn't seem to have been started yet as it will be a few weeks before we see some of the young birds ......
so will start of 2024 with one of the first young to appear - a rather cute wild "funny wabbit" which was one of two kits seen. Only record pic taken through window.

Cheers Mr Kes. I am so lucky to have a garden like mine that backs on to open countryside. We have a single track road running past the front of our property which sees about two to three cars pass an hour. Hopefully this little one will have a safer time round here.
Great shot! I hope it stays with you where it is safe to roam about your garden ...
Very nice to see Ed.
Aww, lovely to see the young hoggie
Much fumbling with the camera and last minutes adjusting last night when I wandered through to the den, glanced out the window to ...
A Red-legged Partridge family!!!
The adults have been visiting for a few years and often brought what I guessed to be their family but never brought young birds before
Meet the kids.
How cute is he/she/them/they/it?
And dad keeps a lookout.
Scozmos said:I spent a fair bit of time videoing the garden visitors on Friday August 9th and, unusually, two young GSW jumped onto suet feeders at the same time, one ably assisted by a gaggle of mixed sparrows :)

Hi Hazy - Lovely shots. I'm no expert but have spent ages gazing at my Chiff Chaff/Willow Warbler shots to no avail. I see more WW features than CC here but I am very happy to stand corrected!!
RLP? The species is deliberately bred to be released (en-masse) and shot.
Not on this farm they're not
Just a few young 'uns from my walks
White Duck
