I looked for this year's thread which doesn't seem to have been started yet as it will be a few weeks before we see some of the young birds ......
so will start of 2024 with one of the first young to appear - a rather cute wild "funny wabbit" which was one of two kits seen. Only record pic taken through window.
(Last year's thread HERE )

Quite a few places keep a check on Canada Geese. Whatever thoughts people have on their existence, monitoring their presence will surely help to monitor local conditions etc.

Excellent focus on the youngster Scozmos - pin sharp!
Given the ubiquity of canada geese and (probably) a general lack of interest on their dispersion I'm still left wondering.
The imp in me says, um.
I've not (yet) seen a canada goose with a DARVIC. As far as you know, are such rings being used?
2nd (or 3rd?) brood DW youngster through a very narrow gap in the gorse
I was hoping to plant a gorse in my 'new' garden. But the drainage and soil is a total 'no-go' on that.
Lovely sharp photo.
Cracking shot B1rder
Fabulous find and photo of the DW
Excellent shot B1rder. So sharp and a good catchlight ...
