Now I know why we have wet miserable mornings, to catch up on posts for the sunnier days...
Nothing special, just a typical, farm five bar gate, that I enjoy taking a photo of.
The main reason for the visit, was to photo the snowdrops before they went past their best, and see what stage the crocuses, daffodils and bluebells.
As expected, just in time for the snowdrops.
The crocuses were more advanced than anticipated.
The daffs were as expected
though there was one already with a full flower on
A quick wander around the main lake, it looked like someone had left a lot of food, the mallards, geese, squirrels, chaffinches, great tits, blue tits, robins, nuthatches and jackdaws were all having a good feed.
Back home, a quick daily check around the garden, the mini daffs showing well, likewise
the bluebells in their temporary home
and the main daffs looking good.

You're welcome and thank you. Spring is just around the corner and those daffs will form a nice yellow carpet towards the latter half of March, to be followed by the bluebells.

It was a nice warm and sunny day on Monday. Soon those daff shoots will display a nice yellow carpet.
