Is it any wonder why this sort of thing still happened with so little punishment being handed out. I would get more of a sentence if I smashed a window! Absolute disgrace!!!

    There's a pending charge on proceeds from crime. And also the possibility that HMRC will launch an investigation on things. Financial misdoings can carry far heavier penalties.

    Remember that a gangster in the US (Al Capone) was finally snared using laws related to financial misdoings, and not his other undertakings.
