Hope it's gonna be another 12 months of fantastic visitors to the garden...Will soon be time to start sewing seeds again ..woohoo.

That's a fantastic shot Linda.
As for the pit stop request, you'll need to add some more food and outdoor amenities for them to drop in.....

my Blackbirds and Song thrushes love the Cotoneaster - I'm sure some others also like them but don't get much of a chance

I planted them last summer and yes the blackbirds enjoyed them very much as the song thrush hogged the rowan trees..blue tits are getting insects off them the now so nice to see them being used but they do take a battering from the wind!

They will cope well Linda, mine developed a thick trunk & strong branches very quickly, unfortunately had to cut it right down cos it was too vigorous for my tiny garden plus too near the fence!
