Cam or optics?
I've been using NV optics (not to be confused with trailcams) for a long time, with varied success, which may seem negative, but quite the opposite, it's been very productive from a wildlife perspective.
The options are as varied and interesting as normal optics, and then add the extra of thermal optics, that then opens up another new game. Yes, I've been playing with thermal imaging scopes after an interesting and informative intro some time back. Bamboozled, definitely, but it's been an interesting journey, and still is.
Yes, I'm still learning, but probably the most important thing to remember, is NV and thermal do not have autofocusing.
