The drive in was interesting, and a little alarming, the lane had shown signs of heavy rain, while the reserve water levels seemed nice and low. As the morning progressed, the water level was starting to creep onto the lower level paths.
I was back again for another viewing of a starling murmuration, and rather than handsfree and follow the starlings, with the Joby Gorillapod positioned on the shelf, set the 24-105 lens to 24mm, to see what the outcome was to be.
Click HERE to see the Canada Geese flypast. Listen carefully, you might hear the starling getting ready to take flight.

Mr Teal decided not to hang around as I lifted the flap on the hide.
though I did manage to see him as he headed for one of the islands on East Marsh Pool
A wee goldcrest, flitting about among the branches of an oak tree alongside the path

Thank you Linda.
There's a follow on, from yesterday (23rd), plus a nicely loud video. That'll need headphones on and volume up, those starlings were very, well noisy.
For those who have watched Harry Potter, Mrs PR made a very apt comment, watching the starlings take flight is almost like watching the dementors in Harry Potter.....
