THE HIDEOUT
a sneaky one from the garden, a Long Tailed Tit on the feeders.
That was taken from my recently completed mancave, called The Hideout.
That has provided good sanctuary whilst not being able to walk far, and I’ve no doubt it will continue to do so. All I need to do is finish tweaking what goes where, but the view down the garden is perfect.
Mr BB checking all is clear
Then checking me out….
Maggie on the cherry tree, not sure whether it’s safe with me in The Hideout or not….
A dunnock about to nip down and feed on some seed I spread just outside the door.
The cherry tree taking on its autumnal gold

Thank you Linda.
They both posed nicely, it was a shame the light was naff, but a pleasure to see nonetheless.
As with all corvids, they're intelligent birds, and quickly latched (no pun intended) on when the window opens, suet pellets end up on the grass.
That large tub of suet pellets in the guided tour vid, will soon be eaten, by the birds.....

Thank you SM.
We're inundated with grey squirrels, you're welcome to help yourself to a few, or all......
The jays have been regular winter visitors for a few years, often only seen on the trailcams, and probably more frequent than the trailcams show if yesterday is anything to go by, and that was before the suet pellet feeding.
They're back this morning, and gratefully eating more suet pellets.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Yes, was looking for a change, and decided to cap it off (tongue-in-cheek pun) with my hat.
