Hope you don't mind me kicking off this year's thread but these 2 were on the patio doors yesterday
Feel free to identify them as they are all flies to me ;-)

Thick headed fly - parasite of bees the larvae feed on bees and wasps whereas the adults job is to lay eggs so if you ever see This strange fly this is what type of fly it is
