After yet another successful year on the Odds & Sods thread, initially started I think by Hazy, it might be wise to kickstart the 2023 thread off.
Thank you to those who have contributed to last years thread, and there has been very interesting odds and sods in "Odds & Sods 2022" that aren't enough to place into a dedicated thread, which you can look back on the following link:

What better for me, and as yet, I've not ventured far, ewe know what I mean, with this lassie on Baddesley Clinton estate yesterday....

Peak District red deer this morning. Not the best light but lovely to see the two youngsters in amongst the heather.
Superb Bob. I always love to see your deer ...

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Was just sat on my bench messing with my camera settings, how you do, and snapping a few passing pigeons using the R7 animal tracking feature, when this caught my eye, sitting on next door's roof. I didn't change any settings just started shooting. I got about 20 pics, all very similar. Am I right in thinking Female Sparrow Hawk? We don't get any ... never mind many birds of prey around here.
Thanks Alan, I thought it was, but wasn't sure ... . One of those lucky shots ...
