After yet another successful year on the Odds & Sods thread, initially started I think by Hazy, it might be wise to kickstart the 2023 thread off.
Thank you to those who have contributed to last years thread, and there has been very interesting odds and sods in "Odds & Sods 2022" that aren't enough to place into a dedicated thread, which you can look back on the following link:

Great photos Angus & PB.
I think with the wonderful weather we've been enjoying, no, make that enduring.... Any wildlife that breathes has to be fair game for the camera...
Likewise, I made the best of the morning sunshine that seemed to cover most of the UK, and with a late afternoon hospital appt, it just had to be done, and also to exercise those new boots....
Photos and report to follow.

Definitely a meal fit for a king-fisher.
Nice to see the kingie was including some veg, even though it was an oak leaf.....
Crackin' video Kevin. It looked like the Kingfisher was trying to tenderise the fish, with the way it kept bashing it on that branch ...
Ah, maybe you’re right - it would make sense and thank you, it was a lucky moment or two
