After yet another successful year on the Odds & Sods thread, initially started I think by Hazy, it might be wise to kickstart the 2023 thread off.

A few from the rut yesterday. I saw the two hinds walking through the woodlands above me and thought there must be a stag nearby. 5 minutes later he meandered through the trees and gave me a stare.

Fairy Ring Champignon in my garden
Porcelain Mushroom, quite high up on a branch of a Beech tree down my local woods. I liked how the light shines through the gills.
This Starling has been hanging around for a few days in my garden. It seems healthy enough. It might have just missed the bus the others went on
