After yet another successful year on the Odds & Sods thread, initially started I think by Hazy, it might be wise to kickstart the 2023 thread off.
Thank you to those who have contributed to last years thread, and there has been very interesting odds and sods in "Odds & Sods 2022" that aren't enough to place into a dedicated thread, which you can look back on the following link:

Pheasants on a pylon. Not seen that before in numbers, presumably a predator below other than the usual predator.
Wow that's amazing! Never seen anything like that before. Don't think I have ever seen one on a pylon never mind 29. And I think there might be another hiding behind the upright on the middle row. ...
It was an odd sight BD. Usually they just stick to the fields and dash to the hedgerows for protection as you pass by or lay flat..
Typical, taking no notice of the signs....
