After yet another successful year on the Odds & Sods thread, initially started I think by Hazy, it might be wise to kickstart the 2023 thread off.
Thank you to those who have contributed to last years thread, and there has been very interesting odds and sods in "Odds & Sods 2022" that aren't enough to place into a dedicated thread, which you can look back on the following link:

What better for me, and as yet, I've not ventured far, ewe know what I mean, with this lassie on Baddesley Clinton estate yesterday....

Quite a lot of activity on this wire at Caerlaverock Castle, with a lot of House Martin and Swallow juveniles clamouring to be fed...
Juvenile Song Thrush, in heavy shade ?
A buzzard high overhead:
Nice to see the swallows and housemartins at Caerlaverock Castle, which is well up north, Dumfries. When were they seen ?

Still not much going on, but I thought I would post a few more from my fat ball feeder. I had a quick first time visit this morning from a Nutty, but I didn't try to get a photo for fear of frightening it away. Hopefully it will return ...

It was just a casual thought, if the photos were more recent, then it might have helped reassure the person asking about the late departing of a swallow in another thread.
A few from my local patch, the first 3 from sunday and the rest all today
Resident Kingfisher:
Cetti's Warbler
Happy to see a water vole (at least I assume it is) at my local patch!
And I love this photo of a young Moorhen - uncropped
And finish of with a goldcrest
Not the best, but there's nothing like the grumpy face of a goldcrest to cheer you up!
