After yet another successful year on the Odds & Sods thread, initially started I think by Hazy, it might be wise to kickstart the 2023 thread off.
Thank you to those who have contributed to last years thread, and there has been very interesting odds and sods in "Odds & Sods 2022" that aren't enough to place into a dedicated thread, which you can look back on the following link:

What better for me, and as yet, I've not ventured far, ewe know what I mean, with this lassie on Baddesley Clinton estate yesterday....

A nice set of photos Snappy Mac.
We were due to be stopping just outside Sheringham this week, and looking on to those wind turbines, but a couple of last minute curved balls have put the kybosh on the holiday, so nice to see you're getting the sun, and fabulous photos..
regards
John
Thanks Cheshire Lad. We were very lucky with the weather yesterday, shame your holiday didn't come off.
An odd combination from the last couple of days in my local valley. Adult and young moorhen and a young roe deer.
The young Roe deer is just beautiful ...
Stomping down footpath to check up on restoration progress, I came to turn right at River Blackwater when I came across this slug, just hanging around.
90% luck, 5% field craft, 5% camera skills.
One of these, seen on our morning walk, decided to take a dive and fly off just as I pressed shutter release.
As far as I can guess, it is a finchy type thing.
