Yesterday I went to Fens pools Nature reserve. The main pool was half ice. I saw three types of birds of prey: kestrel, sparrowhawk and Buzzard. The best I saw was a woodcock scavenging in the winter frost. It was a beautiful day and my time was well spent. Here is the list of birds I saw:
