I thought I would start a new thread dedicated to our beautiful Birds of Prey and hope you will share all your fabulous pics of them aswell ......
Please feel free to add your pics
I will kick it off with one of my regulars...Jock the Sprawk

Thanks all!
I was pleased I photographed the extraordinary maneuvers of this magnificent bird. When I grow up (fat chance) I hope to photograph one swooping in our back garden. I shouldn't get so many reflections in the double glazing.

Local valley little owl this morning, sat on a wood pile and I almost missed him/her.

Big eyes too! Well spotted Bob ...
Great spot Bob and a lovely picture.
Male Kestrel.
2 Buzzards seen together (but not close enough for one pic!). Does anyone know why the 2nd appears to have deep notches in both wings?
Moulting. Birds of prey moult symmetrically so that they can continue flying throughout the year.
Wow, thanks for the prompt and informative response Bob
