Great shot Bob. I noticed that one looked a bit bog eyed, so I googled, 'can an owl, move it's eye's independently', and found that owl's don't have eyeballs - they can only look straight ahead. They are descibed as 'eye tubes'. Well I never new that! You learn something new everyday on here ...

That's interesting. Presumably that's why they do the neck twisty thing. Came across a different family this morning so hopefully they are starting to be more on show this year. I've posted these ones quite a bit in the past.
