Rather than post many individual threads, plus withthe internet signal not being brilliant, I'll share some photos of the wildlife seen whilst on holiday in Cornwall, when signal permits....
So if I miss anything, or seem slow to respond, please bear with me, I am on holiday...
Penzance Harbour, there were plenty of turnstones
Even turnstones have a bad hair day....
Away from the harbour, there were plenty of cormorants (dinsauromorants)
This one was practicing its life saving skills
"Oi, you, no diving off the harbour walls"
I always seem to struggle to get a clear photo of a cormorant in flight, the next two seemed to come out perfect....
they wanna be togetherrrrrrr
Alone again, naturally (Gilbert O'Sullivan 1971)
A rock pipet...
I don't see many pipets, so any corrections, or confirmations gratefully received.
Limpets
A single oyster catcher (carrot bill)...
[first photo uncropped, the following oyster catcher photos are all cropped from the same viewpoint]
Tucking in to some nice juicy morsal...
and comes out with a mucky beak!
a while later, a clean beak...

Thank you.
The weather for the next few days doesn't look to be too sunny, but dry, so that has to be a plus.
Well enjoy the rest of your holiday Mike, looks like your having a great time and keep posting them pics as it's pretty dull here ;-)
(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
Three of my favourites, Mike, it's like you did a post just for me and as ILR said, looked a nice drop of sunshine!
Thanks for sharing, and hope the weather stays fine for you
Looks like a mass walk-out in number 6 ...
Enjoy your holls Mike. Glad the weather is kind to you.
I think the Courmerent prqcticeing it’s life Saveing skills is funny. I think all the photos are very good but Exspeacially the cormorant in flight since you struggle to get a clear photo of them flying and cause it is very clear. Iv only seen a Cormorant once but I havnt seen any since.

Thank you Linda, we will, that is my wife and me....
I once heard it said, by a Cornishman:
And yes,he did call Cornwall a country, not county.
I'll leave the rest to ones thoughts....

Thank you PB, and a nice drop of ongoing sunshine.
I do try to encourage nature to accommodate the forum friends, sometimes it listens, and other times ?I think it says "B????r that...."

Thank you,
It wasn't far off a mass walkout BD. The turnstones were on the move from where I initially photographed them around a coiled up rope, when a boat had just come in and the crew were preparing to secure the boat. So they were getting out of the way, but they didn't go far, so they must be well used to the harbourside activities.

Thank you Zo.
I tend to feel the cormorant in flight photo issues are similar to photographing egrets, with white and black at the extremes of the colour spectrum, it pushes the sensors ability. However, the new camera seems to be averting a lot of those issues.
