A bit of Kingfisher action

Superb set Bob... I'm trying to work out what caused all the splash in the first pic, surely too much, and too dispersed for the kingie?
Love the 6th one where he's rising like a phoenix :o)
I hope he got rid of the fishing line ok?
And getting 2 in the same frame...that's just showing off!!

I think its photo No9, (wasn't that part of a 60's song title, poss John Lennon), looks like the kingfisher has some thread in its beak?

A stunning set of action pictures. It's been a few years since I last saw Kingfishers fishing regularly but had little luck getting them coming out of the water so very well done with that level of success.
