Hi,
I had a weird encounter with what I believe to be a bullfinch!
I work in a police station and he was stood in the middle of the road not moving, already odd as the entrance is pretty close. I bent down to try and encourage the bird to move along but he didn’t flinch! I nudged his tail feathers and he stayed completely still so I picked him up to move him, and he sat happily on my finger and stared into my soul!
it is quite hot today - I’m wondering if he was a little tired. He stayed for about 2 minutes and then seemed to gather enough energy to fly off…
