Here's one wee youngster to melt many hearts, a series of photos of a relatively new visitor to the garden
And time to go home to mummy and daddy...

Hi Mike,
A great experience for you, we've never had one in our garden or seen one anywhere near it.
Best wishes,
Trevor

Its been fascinating watching the cubs make their first venture in to the garden with the parent, and playing as well as exploring. We have almost certainly four different cubs visiting, two older ones, confirmed by a recent territorial battle captured on trailcam, and two younger cubs, still very young looking, one with a white tip on the tail, the other without.
The links for those videos, and any further photos, will be posted on this thread.

Soreeeee......
It's taken a while, with lots of photos and video to sift through, plus other daily chores (and I wrongly thought retirement would give me more free time), but here's the first video of a fox cub exploring our garden, uploaded to my Flickr pages, captured from the trailcam around the same time as my photos.

There are more to sift through, lots more.
For size comparisons, the attached two photos will help to grasp the fox cub sizes in relation to some of the fixed points they are close to.
Shhh, ignore the garden hose I hadn't put away....

It won't be long now.
I cheekily suggested in your garden 2022 post that a trailcam would be a good purchase, and this could be the one time it will show its true worth. i'm sorting slowly through the trailcam vids, and much of it will never be seen in the light of day.
A fox cub exploring our garden at night. A series of short 10 second long, videos captured on the trailcam.
