A nice video Bob.
Out of curiosity, what did you use to record the footage?

My new Canon R3 with Canon 300mm f2.8 and 1.4TC. Recorded at 4K and then converted via Apple iMovie into mp4 format. In real terms the bird was relatively close, so I was actually able to crop the movie without too much loss of detail.
PS I just swapped it out for a better resolution save :).

The quality is good noting the fact of cropping and associated editing.
Lot to learn

Hi Gaynor, to be honest the humbugs were a bit lethargic - the male brought a fish in offered it to one of the chicks and none of the chicks reacted , so I think they must have been well fed before we got there. Not letting anything go to waste she took it off him and ate it
Nice video, here you can find my playlist about great crested grebe ---> https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkgXDMzNAOFydsSw6ltOVzgAOiTtZ0tF5
Why not just create your own thread instead of piggy backing on mine which is over a year old?
