Lot to learn
Moorhen chick exploring the pond
My camera and I don't know how to cope with this fluffiness.
Seeing young Moorhens everywhere this year ............. here are 6 chicks from one our local reserves near Warrington
Gotta love these little moorlets with size 12 feet lol
Starling youngster demanding food
OK folks, still playing catch up after a fabulous week in the Bonnie Highlands of Scotland, and lots of photos to sort through and post.
First, Hazel , its good to see you posting, and I hope all has gone well with the eye op?
For now, a taster, some ducklings at the Tebay Northbound Services, on our journey up. I'm tempted to think the adults are Mallard crossed with Indian Runner Ducks with they way they are standing, but happy as always to be corrected.
The ever patient Mrs PR in her element, BTW, for those concerned, the pellets were for ducks and swans, so no naughty food.
And doing what ducklings do, when no food apparent, swimming....
But then more food is out!
and then there was threeeeeee......
