The mrs does have a Dslr camera but we don’t have a powerful lense . When we win the lottery we’re promising ourselves a good lense and a descent pc
Canon or Lumix?
Lumix is a Panasonic model, and Canon use Powershot, and both are good camera makes and models
Getting good pictures through a window is not easy at the best of times, no matter how good or expensive your camera and lens are. If the light is low, then that makes things even more difficult, add to that the slightest specs of dust or even residue from the weather, will also impact the clarity of any photo.
While smartphones today are very good cameras today, have their limitations. To take distant or intricate photos is very challenging for the camera itself. They're great for indoor close up portraits, and landscapes, where detail isn't the main requirement.
While its nice to have a big lens, and an all singing all dancing big camera, many compacts and bridge cameras can and will take good clear photos, without breaking the budget.
