My first sightings of banded damselflies for 2021, but there will be more to come
And a second visit to Middleton Lakes, and the banded damselflies suddenly came from nowhere!

Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
Spotted this unfortunate Southern Hawker Dragonfly in the Dunes at Minsmere, no match for a Whitethroat.
The bird hopped around with it for quite a while not sure what to do with it's prize.
