They are that Gaynor, and finding out how to ID them and the Damselflys.

Thank you Trevor, found a place were there are lots and the place is getting bigger with more ponds so will be a great place for them and the bugs sadly moving away very soon and it would be a 600 mile round trip :(

When we were out locally yesterday Chris found what we think is a new one to the reserve a Red Eyed Dragonfly. The trouble is these things move around too fast for my poor old eyes so I have to rely on Chris to id them

Thank you Hazel, I am preparing got rid of my cooker and washer today and I did not have to do anything scarp men :) and 50p is not bad lol

Spotted this unfortunate Southern Hawker Dragonfly in the Dunes at Minsmere, no match for a Whitethroat.

The bird hopped around with it for quite a while not sure what to do with it's prize.
