There is a Robin that regularly appears whenever I'm near my workshop where I fill the bird feeders and every now and then it takes a mealworm from the hand. This morning I managed some photos of the Robin taking a mealworm from my wife's hand The pictures are a bit grainy as it was early and the light was not good so had to use a very high ISO to get the shutter speed up high enough but pleased with the results none the less.
Things are moving fast with the young Robins now, dad has virtually stopped feeding them and they are out and about in the garden feeding themselves.

On one of dad's favourite posing spots.
One of them had seen where dad got his mealworms from.
I'm getting full.
One last one and off it went.
A Great Tit came down to investigate but left without taking any.

Well I never, first you had the adults now you have the babies eating out of your hand, well tub! They have been watching and taking it all in and now know where to go and who will feed them! Great for you to have them, they must be such a joy to follow. Our parents are still flying back and forth feeding, more critters and beasties in the beaks the last two days and not just worms, so that it a good sign.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Lot to learn
More brilliant photos Trevor, and now dad's shown junior where to come, you'll need more hands!

Our Robin has been coming for his mealworms continuously for 4 months now. Today he turned up outside our conservatory during a lot of rain looking rather bedraggled, and he has his second set of youngsters to feed now so he 's as keen as ever.
One of his so far fairly elusive offspring.
