Time to start this year's thread of odds and sods (Last year's Odds & Sods HERE)
Today a large flock of 40 or so Redwings descended on the fields around our local parkland and although they were pretty skittish and distant I hard cropped a few pics for you ....
and a blue tit landed nearby !

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Thanks CL, was very surprised to see the Magpie made it through the Winter & looks like taking food away to nestlings?
What was wrong with the Woodie, Wendy? Was it limping? I was amazed how often the Magpie came down! I wondered if it's feeding a brood too.
Best wishes

Woodie has a mis-shapen foot, likely an injury but is less clen hed up than it was! Yes, am sure Magpie was taking food away to new brood!
Edit: Earlier vids of Woodie on my hoggie thread, pages 1 & 3!
Lot to learn
Thanks Gaynor, will have to get a field hospital sign like they had on 'Mash'! Hahaha
Local red deer this morning and the local peaks.
This delightful Goldcrest was busy on the windowsill and in the Cotoneaster this evening. A delight to watch
