Just a Greenfinch!

The sun was shining and the Greenfinch was happily posing and looked so lovely

A little shake of the feathers

Oh that lovely heat on my feathers

Now practising to be an easter chick lol

And sitting tall

Just another lovely garden visitor!

No such thing as "just a greenfinch" ! we need all the Greenies we can get after their numbers have been greatly impacted by the wretched Trichomonas so its absolutely wonderful (or should that be fabulous ? ! ) to see the gorgeous photos of your perfectly healthy finch making the most of the early autumn sunshine.

It's always good to see a Greenfinch, as Hazy says they have taken a battering over recent years. I like that they are easy identifiable!!!
