Grey day here but more House Sparrow action ……….
Fledglings were showing their independence feeding on the ground; (may be Mum at the front with a mealie in her bill) live worms on offer but rather opting for the mealworm suet
but there's always one who still wants to be fed by Mum !
one in the fruit bowl bird bath !! having a drink.
One of the lovely female adults

Lot to learn
Thanks again folks, another brood fledged today by the looks of things and numbers picking up ! So, camera had to come out seeing as it was a nice blue sky.
the mischievous two !!
one chilled out Mr Spudgie...... he must be one of the first that watches for me to chuck out the live mealies and he's fearless of me !
was very hot everywhere today and Mr Spudgie was ventilating !
back to the nest in the eaves ………...
whereas this baby just helps itself !
First time I've seen a Sparra-bush full of new buds lol
and Dad keeping his eye on them …..
Mrs Spudgie chilling out after the midday feed !
and these last pics are my favourite pics of the day - in sequence …...
Mrs Sparrow looking beautiful …………..
along comes Mr Sparrow ………. "Hello Darling" !!
Mrs Sparrow ………"Wanna give me a kiss then ? " …… !!!
"Ok then ..…………… maybe next time " !!

Fab set Hazel.... told you you weren't too busy
Lovely photos, they just love to be in on the action.
I think ours are starting to show their faces, the feeders are getting lots of sparrow visits.
