It's not often you get to see a young Wren on here, well done David. The Red Kite is splendid, great shot.

Thanks, I have been watching the adults flying rapidly across the garden and waited quite a while before seeing the youngster. That might even be the nest behind it, but i am loathe to disturb them to find out.
Red Kites are supposed to be quite rare in Essex, but just lately it has been making regular appearances. Still a treat to see them flying so low.

Today is all about my cherry tree.

Thanks Linda, luckily there are enough cherries for everyone, although they are disappearing fast as the Jackdaws have started on them!!

Blackbirds do seem to love their cherries. Though I've no clear piccies yet, they have been feasting on the cherries from our tree.
