  • Some, very poor quality videos of our feeders, after a trial and error messing with the settings.... Apologies for the poor video quality, all haves been taken through the kitchen window virtually into the sunlight.

A male blackbird attempting to feed from a fat ball nugget feeder.

A grey squirrel, one of many garden visitors, feeding from a bird seed feeder, and, gnawing away at the feeder to enable access to the seed.

  • Yesterday (Sunday 5th) was a brilliantly sunny day, so sitting out in the garden, no social distancing issues, neighbours one side 6 mtrs away, the other 4 mtrs away with a large summer house between us, enabled good clear photos not through the kitchen window, for a change.I did get carried away a bit, well, a lot, but I've sorted the pics down to just a sensible few.

    Blue tit

Coal tit feeding on new shoots

    Coal tit on feeder

    Blackbird on nugget slab....

  • Great pics Mike, love the Coal Tit.

    Lot to learn

You will probably have noticed the coal tit has a crossed over beak.

It seems to be eating and getting around ok, though I've reported it to the BTO

  • Stop gawping....

    Look out, I'm coming in!

  • Some from Thurs 9th April

Blackbird feeding on something white, might be  a bit of bread, or it could be from the nugget feeder....

And a dunnock, the cocked head happened just as I took a photo,

Followed by this one, trying to locate the click source as the photos are taken...

  • Lovely selection Mike, the Dunnock especially looking very smart.

    Lot to learn
