Starting with a first for me ... Sparrowhawk in neighbour's garden here in quarry, only ever seen a seemingly lost youngster many years ago!
Grabbed ID vid footage through d/glazed door, then battery died & by time I'd replaced it to go outside for better res a delivery driver stopped next door & frightened the bird off!! grrrrrr
Hope it's a one-off for the sake of my Spadger horde!

Little clip of some of my Spadger flock enjoying the goldfish pond (shame it's through d/g window!)

Lovely video, and the spadgers are certainly enjoying the water.
First juvenile in my garden late this afternoon, through the closed d/g kitchen window & fraught with difficulties trying to follow him around, had him nicely lined up on Rusty the Heron when cam battery went ... never moved so fast to replace, lined up again on seed tray when a Collared Dove jumped down off the roof & scared him away!!! Result is a bitty vid but a record that he came ... best viewed large
