New male who I've named Colin gave us a miss over Xmas & New Year's day so was very pleased to see him this afternoon, giving me a reason to start new thread in the hope there's some romance this year!
Grim & grey day here so light was bad for pics @ almost 15.00
Resolution in vid was a great improvement ... he looks almost too pretty to be a boy!! Trademark ending though ... start as you mean to go on!

Hi there all Kestrel followers!
I've been posting on Peter's thread for the Yorkshire Dales nest but as Wendy is covering it with her lovely Quarry bird Colin, I'll join in here.
I've just caught up on 96+ hours with the following results ;)
She's extremely gorgeous and irresistible, this was a pause during a preen :-*
That's up to 21:20 last evening.

There was a changeover around 06:45 after one of the pair had been preening in the doorway for a while. Couldn't get a good view of the eggs but maybe still 5?
