Apparantly this is their time of year!
All insects, spiders, beetles, flies etc etc welcome,
Best wishes

A few recent insecty shots
A nice colourful hoverfly (I think Myathropa Florea)
A honey bee
The first time I've come across a Shieldbug nymph. I'm guessing 3 or 4th instar of Common Green
Love the gold thorax on this Migrant Hoverfly
I'm not sure what is going on here as Pondskaters aren't normally this colourful. It looks like a youngster, but maybe the colour was just a reflection or very directional iridescence.
And a Common Wasp using those huge jaws to collect building material
I should even have some bird photos next time!
Lot to learn
Grew a Cardoon just for fun ... Bees love it

Very kind, thank you. Unfortunately, I think it's one of the more difficult things about photography ... unless you have a dedicated lens, which is not to everyone's budget. Like every other form of photography, you have to remember to go for the image and not just the subject. Oddly, it can be easier with insects than birds as you can often manipulate view more!
