Kestrels in the Quarry 2019... Just in time for Xmas!!

Oooohhhhh how exciting Wendy, and what a beauty she is. NOW all we need is Mr K (or the other one, or both or none, if in fact it has been him all along) to come along and wooooo her!! She sure was having a good look about and exploring. Well done to Mick for the lovely footage.

Lovely to see ... but ooooh, that's a long time to wait to see if she hangs around. Will any of us survive the suspense???

Back in the day the Kestrel fledglings used to poke around in that area & both Mr K & the new male have perched there, likely a Starling or Spadger nest in the breeding season ... would be a tight squeeze for Kestrel's nest though!
