Often we don't have enough photos to create a full thread so thought I'd start an Odds & Sods thread where you may want to add a pic or two when you don't have enough for their own thread . Feel free to add your rogues gallery here !

I only had a couple of pics today, one a Treecreeper and the other a very hacked off looking Great Egret huddled against the reeds trying to keep warm !

It was nice to see it, shame I never had a tripod or I could have took a movie it looked like it was there to stay, and I am going again Friday with two friends so might see it or other then.
Shame you could not locate yours they are looking in very nice condition.

A lovely surprise visitor today on the waterfall area .................... Lady Blackcap; unfortunately I only had chance to take two similar photos before she flew off.

Bluey ........

The male and female blackbirds are still collecting mealworms to feed their chicks

Lovely to see the female Blackcap having a good bath Hazy, also good to see Mrs. B collecting a mouthful of mealies for her brood, very few blackbirds in my garden this year.

I caught a glimpse of him/her again this morning, up high this time. Yes Nigel I do have plenty of berries my side of the lane unlike further on as the farmer went a little wild this year and cut back for Britain , hence the Woodie visiting for the first time probably.

What a lovely sighting Alan, they look like clockwork toys when they "reel" as they turn there head to right and left ! Hope I get to see or hear one this season. Good to see more warblers arriving.
