THIS THREAD IS NOW DISCONTINUED, please add to the new 2020 thread HERE
Often we don't have enough photos to create a full thread so thought I'd start an Odds & Sods thread where you may want to add a pic or two when you don't have enough for their own thread . Feel free to add your rogues gallery here !
I only had a couple of pics today, one a Treecreeper and the other a very hacked off looking Great Egret huddled against the reeds trying to keep warm !

Took this photo today of a Marsh Harrier hovering like a kestrel, he was watching something in the reeds but didn't do anything about it and just flew off.
a
Bittern at Somerset Levels taken this evening.
Taken through the clean windows !! Two Song Thrushes on the waterfall area; luckily this pair breed succesfully every year as I always eventually see the juveniles. Hopefully this year they will have a brood again.

I saw this bittern at the right time in the "Golden Hour" coming out of the reeds. I could hear the bittern booming but did not know the direction the sound was coming from, I knew eventually he would show so had a 5 hour wait.
