THIS THREAD IS NOW DISCONTINUED, please add to the new 2020 thread HERE
Often we don't have enough photos to create a full thread so thought I'd start an Odds & Sods thread where you may want to add a pic or two when you don't have enough for their own thread . Feel free to add your rogues gallery here !
I only had a couple of pics today, one a Treecreeper and the other a very hacked off looking Great Egret huddled against the reeds trying to keep warm !

Brilll capture, dont suppose you noticed if it was ringed?????,when it decided to move on.
Kate it's not a ringed bird, I often see it on my patch, it was nice to see it so very close and out in the open.
That Egret does look a bit dischuffed Hazel but the Treecreeper is taken at an unusual angle for a bird normally seen running up a tree trunk.

Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
I saw three dippers today on the same stretch of river at the Forest of Dean, although I got photo's of all 3 birds individually the challenge I set myself was to get a photo of all 3 in the same frame. The best I could do was 2. The 3rd dipper was an outsider and clearly was not wanted and was chased off by the pair in the photograph.
Our Lesser Redpoll returned. Slightly better light brought out that it bears some similarities to our Goldfinch friends.
I've recently had some major tree work done and had been more than a little concerned that the squiggles would object - I should have known better

Always difficult to get a good photo of a dipper this time of year. He was doing what he was suppose to do and that's "dipping" which does not help when light is very poor.
That top photo ended up in me searching the Internet for Tufty Club pictures.
Great shot of the Dipper, one of my favourite birds; I've been lucky enough to see them on walks by River Dove in Derbyshire. What time of year was this taken Paul (tried to check on the Exif but it made no sense)
@ Alan, fabulous pics of the Sparrowhawk
Hazy I took the photo's yesterday (Forest of Dean)
