THIS THREAD IS NOW DISCONTINUED, please add to the new 2020 thread HERE
Often we don't have enough photos to create a full thread so thought I'd start an Odds & Sods thread where you may want to add a pic or two when you don't have enough for their own thread . Feel free to add your rogues gallery here !
I only had a couple of pics today, one a Treecreeper and the other a very hacked off looking Great Egret huddled against the reeds trying to keep warm !

James, how lucky you are to see a wide Otter.
You can see them most day at RSPB Leighton Moss Paul C, its just being lucky if they come in close that capture was taken with the Sigma 150-600mm lens.
Lovely capture James. Is that part of the otter or does he have an eel coming out of his ear! Lol
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Its the Otters tail its getting wax out of its ear CT lol
Doh, couldn't work out what part it was. Cheers James.
James I've put RSPB Leighton Moss on my list of places to visit. The Sigma 150-600 has many positive reviews and gives excellent results.
Saw this Peregrine this afternoon sitting in a tree just behind my house. I rushed upstairs to get my camera hoping it would still be there and thinking also I hope that the battery has some power in it still.
Luckily it was just my day ......The Peregrine had no reason to rush and sat there for over an hour.
Walking around we'd detected the winter birds around the area, Fieldfare and Redwings, some of which we saw as we walked up to the shops in some roadside trees.Bit of a treat for us today, after a sparse autumn where we were feeling unloved, our fan club of various tits have been regularly visiting and a few of our interesting but not to special birds. Today we had a bonus, one we have never seen before: a Lesser Redpoll. Managed a couple of quick shots as it kindly loitered after using our feeders.Ah! No pictures.
