THIS THREAD IS NOW DISCONTINUED, please add to the new 2020 thread HERE
Often we don't have enough photos to create a full thread so thought I'd start an Odds & Sods thread where you may want to add a pic or two when you don't have enough for their own thread . Feel free to add your rogues gallery here !
I only had a couple of pics today, one a Treecreeper and the other a very hacked off looking Great Egret huddled against the reeds trying to keep warm !

On the (polo) field outside our rental property there must have been over 50 Redwings that we spotted this morning as we headed out in the car; I took quick pics purely as record shots as they were too spooked to grab photos outside of the vehicle. Took these from front passenger seat and also noticed there was a single Mistle Thrush keeping the migrant thrushes company. Redwings being the smallest members of the thrush family of birds but so attractive. From a distance I thought they were sparrows or starlings !
the huge flock were spread out over quarter of the field but it was a thrill to see so many not far away from the back door !!
Kind regards, Ann
