THIS THREAD IS NOW DISCONTINUED, please add to the new 2020 thread HERE
Often we don't have enough photos to create a full thread so thought I'd start an Odds & Sods thread where you may want to add a pic or two when you don't have enough for their own thread . Feel free to add your rogues gallery here !
I only had a couple of pics today, one a Treecreeper and the other a very hacked off looking Great Egret huddled against the reeds trying to keep warm !

Unknown said: I've yet to one or a Whitethroat this season although I've seen tons of Willow Warblers, Chiffchaff, heard Reed and Sedge !
For me, this year is far better than last, Blackcaps and Whitethroats are back to their usual sighting numbers. I think last year they just didn't sing but went straight to nesting, so they were here but much less visible. Whitethroats have been everywhere in the past week or two. I've still not spotted a Sedge yet though. I may go Lunt soon to get them - I'm told they are showing well.
I think I got a Sedge at LM the other day so will go and have a look, I am still Buzzing with getting the Bittern and am replying back to all the post about it.
Lot to learn
If only everyone could be so amiable and relaxed with each other. :-)

great photos all.
Sometimes when you are just finding your feet and new to the area a spot of feather tidying can knock you right off balance and you end up with (ahem ! ) muck on your face !!
(record shots of a young Avocet chick)
I know I shouldn't laugh, but I had to chuckle when I saw the pics of the avocet chick falling over.
On a more serious note, brilliant photos

You may just have a valid point there, Hazel. :-)
