THIS THREAD IS NOW DISCONTINUED, please add to the new 2020 thread HERE
Often we don't have enough photos to create a full thread so thought I'd start an Odds & Sods thread where you may want to add a pic or two when you don't have enough for their own thread . Feel free to add your rogues gallery here !
I only had a couple of pics today, one a Treecreeper and the other a very hacked off looking Great Egret huddled against the reeds trying to keep warm !

Cheers Paul, what a beautiful area of the country that is and fantastic when you can capture on camera such glorious opportunities. Stunning pics one and all.
That's a brilliant photo Paul.

What a brilliant sight, Alan. Waxwings and Redwings. I've seen neither this year. Very envious.

Fabulous birds to see Alan and equally fabulous photo captures; I've not seen a Waxwing this season but live in hope !
Mr and Mrs Crossbill come down to the puddle to partake in beverages just like my good-self.....taken from the comfort of my car whilst eating fruit cake and drinking a cup of tea.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Pleased to see that The Peregrine is back again on my patch today.
This Peregrine is showing a full crop. The crop is the name of the part of the falcon’s anatomy that serves as a storage area for food until it is passed to the stomach – often seen as a bulge in the upper part of the bird’s chest area when it is full.
What a shot, fabulous Paul.
Lot to learn
Great photo of a gorgeous creature!
Kind regards, Ann
It's the first sign of grey for this Blackbird!
I think I've been spotted in the hide by this female Goldeneye!
Who quacks a warning to her peers...
An immature Lesser Black-black in front of a juvenile Herring Gull
Normally, I see far more Lesser Black-backs than Herring Gulls but for some reason there have been lots of Herring Gulls about, both adult and, like this one, juvenile
