Often we don't have enough photos to create a full thread so thought I'd start an Odds & Sods thread where you may want to add a pic or two when you don't have enough for their own thread . Feel free to add your rogues gallery here !
I only had a couple of pics today, one a Treecreeper and the other a very hacked off looking Great Egret huddled against the reeds trying to keep warm !
Nice snapp Paul, mmmm sounds nice fruit cake and a cuppa, think I will put the kettlle on!
Mr and Mrs Crossbill come down to the puddle to partake in beverages just like my good-self.....taken from the comfort of my car whilst eating fruit cake and drinking a cup of tea.

Well worth staking that tree out with all those fabulous visitors Alan, great captures.
Fabulous birds to see Alan and equally fabulous photo captures; I've not seen a Waxwing this season but live in hope !
Beautiful photos Alan of the Waxwings, Redwings and Mistle Thrush. Have yet to see any Thrush yet, only ever had a couple of visits from the Redwings and only ever seen the Waxwings in the woodland, a mile away. Maybe it is time to visit to see if they are there!
What a brilliant sight, Alan. Waxwings and Redwings. I've seen neither this year. Very envious.
Ah thank you - now I see.... I never have any left by this time of the year, my tree has already been stripped out
Hi Caroline they are Rowan Berries/Mountain Ash.
Wow Alan, I live in hope of seeing Waxwings one day, they are very rare visitors to us
Edit. What are they feeding on?
